I just found the website and kinda read the turtorials. I have a W660 (SE) Platform: DB2020, EROM CID: 53. Is it able to unlock my sim ?

downloaded SETool2 Lite v1.11 its 65.7mb compressed rar file is that correct version? the setool2 lite.exe keeps getting picked up by avg as a virus....

In XS++ V3.1 I clicked on GDFS in the configurations panel then Backup GDFS which created a 97KB file called (W850_xxxxxx_GDFS_BACKUP.bin) on my pc.

Can I use XS++ V3.1 to do the rest of the steps if so how can I do this?

I downloaded (SETool2 Lite v1.10) then used the (SETool2 Lite v1.11 update) file to update the app. I now have v1.11 working fine, I have made a backup of the GDFS using this app.

As the phone is a DB2020 CID49 im a little confused on how I should proceed...

When I connect the phone via xs++ it does give me an option to upgrade to CID 52...I will wait untill someone can confirm that I should go ahead with the CID upgrade.

Upgrade the CID to 52 with XS++, and then follow step by step the tutorial in first post of this thread(DB2020 CID52 section).

What is the MAIN firmware? How do I get it?

Once I get the mbn file all I do is drag and drop the mbn file on top of the qamaker.exe file?

OK, now your phone can be patched.

You will get the answer if you read the SonyEricsson Hardware and Firmware. You need the W850_R1ED001_MAIN_GENERIC_CY_RED52.mbn MAIN firmware(search for it)
