hi everyone, i must confess that it is quite possible, that my level of stupidity doesn't allow me to patch my w880 correctly. still, i would like to get this thing working and unlock it..

Is it necessary to hold the 2 Button the whole time while flashing it? (Step I - 6. according to simox tutorial) I am asking because nothing happens (i waited 30 minutes..), not with the phone nor with setool.

ok, i guess that i have found a possible troubleshoot: in the patch generator it said that CID is 52, now when i run setool it says 51. is it possible to patch 51's or do i have to convert it to 52? (if yes, how do i do this? :?)

Ok, i crossread through some posts, and know now that i can't flash cid 51. so i tried to convert it to 52.

tried with DB2020_CID49_51_to_CID52.txt -> unsupported combination
tried with DB2020_CID49_51_to_CID52_OLD.txt ->

Try to upgrade the EROM CID with XS++ v3.1(just connect the phone to XS++)...

I was not able to patch my K550 it seems its completly blocked by default by my company, what a shame! Darned, so I sold it. thanks to all concerned!

everything went well until the last step. as you write "3. Tick Use "quick access" patch checkbox" - my set v1.10 doesn't seem to have that checkbox? or are you talking about "quick_access_XYYY_R8BA024.vkp" (which i dl'ed somewhere!?)?

First of all find v.1.11 and than try again (thats last version for now)

Just try to connect with XS++3.1 and if XS recognized and read your phone post log here without IMEI
