the CDA and the keyboard relation!

    Hello,
I have P1i, the phone is totally in Arabic language and the CDA is 10.. i managed to change the CDA to 1 (world) and that worked fine, the problem is even after i changed the CDA and phone was totally changed into English but still the Keyboard writes in Arabic.. i really do not know why... and by the way i already updated the phone from SEUS and everything went well and it shows that the phone is totally english because the CDA is 1 now... now what is the relation between CDA and keyboard language...? any hints on how to change the keyboard language to english???

    thanks a lot..

by the way guys,, the keyboard i am talking about above is the handset keyboard.. NOT the on-screen keyboard..

Well I'm Not Sure About Your CDA Case But Writing Language Can Be Changed From Settings>Language>Writing Language.

well..using XS++, send a script to the phone..
just save this line into a text file and then script it using XS++ to the phone by sending GDFS:
    ------
    gdfswrite:000206d500000000
    -------
the line above for english QWERTY keyboard...
    for arabic keyboard:
    -----
    gdfswrite:000206d504000000
    -----

once u run the script.. disconnect ur phone and then switch it on.. the new setting for keyboard will be effective.. no need to do update using SEUS... easy...
    any questions i am ready....
