W810i dead after flash

I flashed a CID49 W810i with XS++ with below stated files and it was successfully except the last custom files wouldn't finish properly. The phone is dead and can't be started at all now. I've looked at tons of threads but can't figure it out. Anyone who can tell me where I did wrong and how I can solve it? Thank you.

Was your phone cid49 brown? What happens now when you connect phone to xs++, can xs identify your w810?

djape84 brings up a good point. if you had a brown phone, u needed to change it to red before flashing with "red" files.

also, if you used XS++ with your w810i, the custom files should already have been in the drop down list in FSX.

if your version wasn't there, then you should have unzipped our custom files, and put in the directory "own_custpack/tpa/preset/custom", where "own_custpack" should be in the same directory as XS++

I don't know if it's CID49 brown. Most of the time I get "Did not receive 0x5a. Continuing.." when I try to connect the phone again through xs++.

get xs++3.1 and reflash ur main

If you can't connect or are having trouble to connect your phone to the computer using a normal DCU-60 cable then try using a service cable and it should work better.

Hello there, I have the same problem with the same w810i, I flashed it with XS++3.1 and Far Manager softs with the firmware R4EA031_MAIN_GENERIC_HN_RED49, I do this yesterday, and now is gone, nothing, dont want to boot just the screen flashing white, I thought that is normal and desapear in few secs but I leave the phone all night and now continue apearing the white screen, Im going to try to flashing with xs++3.1, I hope this can fix it, or I going to be waiting for be available to download the new firmware R4EK001 (RED49/RED50). I want my phone back to life :(

Ok, I will try and reflash it with 3.1 :). Hopefully that will do the trick. I got a hold of a service cable as well, will use that instead.

OK this is not going to well. Using XS++ 3.1 with both USB DC-60 cable and a 2in1 cruiser cable and neither seem to be able to access the phone. The DC-60 cable only produces the response " "Did not receive 0x5a. Continuing.." while the cruiser cable won't even go that far. Any ideas?

Ok after some more trying I got it to connect to the phone with the 2in1 cable and the phone is red and not brown. Trying to re-flash the main and all now.

IT WORKS!! man!! Im very happy couse I would fix my W810i! I just flash it again with this firmware W810_R4EK001_MAIN_GENERIC_HN_RED49 and this W810_R4EK001_FS_AMERICA_2_RED49 use it the XS++3.1 and FAR 1.7 o yeah and I use the USB DC-60 cable ;)

Thanks. When and how exactly did you use Far manager? As far as I can read it's for the custom files but seems to your log you are using XS++ to do that? Unless I am misreading it.

I re-flashed the MAIN and it got up and running again but instead of logging in properly after the PIN code has been entered I now get Configuration error please contact your operator...
