W810i dead after flash

A couple of months ago, when I killed my phone, doing i dont know what any more(newbie), I started SEtool2 lite, selected my phone model and hit "FLASH" :

-I didn't add any (rest)file before pressing flash, SEtool detects and uses the rest file by itself ( at least in my case) otherwise you should look for the right rest file.
- It worked on my W800 cid49 red (K750) all patched, I hope it will work for you!!!

so that's what I did then:

1) Open SEtool2 lite
2) Choose your phone model
3) Then press "FLASH" button (without adding any files in any windows), follow instructions, disconnect and..voilá! phone is revived

It worked for me so tell me if it worked for you too!!

Thanks. When and how exactly did you use Far manager? As far as I can read it's for the custom files but seems to your log you are using XS++ to do that? Unless I am misreading it.

I re-flashed the MAIN and it got up and running again but instead of logging in properly after the PIN code has been entered I now get Configuration error please contact your operator...

When I flashed my w800 (and k750) and got the same error you have Coramoor, then it was because of an error with the FS flashing part. But back then I also used GFlash and SeTool so I don't know if they did the customization correctly for me.

Hmm I must say I'm a bit skeptical to involve a 3rd program. The phone is not dead per say but gives a conf. error when started. Would this SEtool2 fix this and make it operational?

Don't be sceptical, many people had same problem (configuration error when phone started after flashing with xs++) and SETool fixed that. beto_nl is telling it right, I fixed my w700 doing same thing month ago :)

Yes! finally a confirmation, ty djape.

Sometimes things go a bit wrong when you use XS++ specially the older versions ( the version 3.1 works fine though).

SEtool just puts automatically a rest file back to your phone and it usually does the trick unless the damage caused by XS++ was worse than usual.

If it doesnt repair it, at least it wont make it worse.

Anyhow if you are going to use XS++ in the future (i am using it always to delete and upload files to FS), use the version 3.1, it works like a charm with less bugs..

dude you just got config error right?
Then cool man you're phone is one step away from coming back! Just download the custpack and install either via FAR or setool.(Cust pack defines ways for your phone to connect/behave in ur region. Hence check that cust pack corresponds the SAME FS u flashed with. I mean a EMEA_4 fs WILL HAVE ITS OWN EMEA_4 custpack)
Although doing it via setool is the easiest way i guess :)

i have been able to do everything above except the one in red.... i dont know how to start the uploading in XS++ v3

go to the directory where XS++ exists (you will find XS++.exe and XS++log also there) and add the folder files_to_upload.
Paste your custom files folder there in UNCOMPRESSED FORM(ie without zip or rar) and i guess since you wouldve downloaded the pack it would have the correct folder automatically (folder order being \tpa\preset\custom i THINK)
in xs++ select customization and the select own pack and you will find your files there.
