Is it possible to upgrade a cid49 w810i to cid50 without a box?
edit; like patch with xs++ or something likely..

Depends.. db2010 cant be upgraded for sure.. not too sure about db2012 or db2020

DB2020 can be upgraded using XS++ 3.1. It will popup a dialogue asking if you wish to upgrade CID.

why do you want to do that ? its more easy to customize a cid49 than cid50. if I could transform my w810i cid 49 to cid 36...

as motosaga referred to, upgrading to cid50 would be completely useless for you
cid49 is completely patchable right now
cid50 is not, and IMHO, never will be (because it is not in high demand)
cid51/52 is now the new security version in demand to be hacked.
