w810 xs++

hi folks... i want to customize my w810.. i cannot connect my mobile phone with my computer... i tried holding the 'c' button but in vain... i get a message saying
cannot open phone communication port

i downloaded it but i can't install it... i can't find the set up icon

Look you should do this:

1. Install SEUS from official sony erricson page
2. Then connect phone and you should remove your battery about 4-5 secs before connecting phone.

find a way to install the drivers .

in our china we all know how to use xs++ or far .

SEUS did not work for me. anyway you can try the following tutorial:

to customize use xs++ 3.1 or far. SEUS is for flash software.

installing the usb flash drivers are very easy

take out the sim card and memory card (if you have one). do NOT open up a program like XS++ or any other phone program.

make sure the phone is off. hold down "c" on your phone, and with the dcu-60 usb cable, plug it into the phone.

your computer SHOULD detect it as a new device, and prompt you for the drivers. select that you will find the drivers yourself, browse to the directory where you saved the usb driver files, and then click ok, and let the computer do the rest.

the drivers should install fine, and then your phone will turn on into transfer mode. just use the "safely remove hardware" option, plug out your phone, and viola the drivers should be installed.

don't use the SEUS method. it does work, but SEUS has shown to conflict with some of the phone hacking programs (at least in the past)
