I've done a lot of searching for info on the z550a (DB2010 51 RED) and ended up more confused than ever. Already tried Multiserver, and the local unlock shop. I *think* Cruiser software might work, but then would a cruiser cable be enough or do I also need something else...a tool, box, jumper cables whatever?

Has anyone actually unlocked this model?

DB2010 can be unlocked in theory with available commercial tools, but CID51 is new, so I haven't tested it yet. On CID49 it's working (e.g. with Cruiser). You need Cruiser dongle and Cruiser or Fighter cable to test.

I have heard that SE tool can kill this phone. If Total MultiServer & Cruiser cannot unlock this phone, is there anything else to try?

I have the same phone z550a and will pay whatever fair priice if someone can PLEASE help or direct me into right place to get this unit unlocked.....
BTW I have a twister box and a ujbox dont know much about them though. LOL But will pay for help!!

SETool can unlock this phone, just remember ... if rest isn't available, reflash the phone with one supported

Sir I do not doubt that setool can unluck it..Howver Im trying tofnddd someone who will support me on this........

woohoo! I only flashed Motorola (easy), and unlocked a T610 so I don't have much experience, what are you referring to by "rest" ?

@Hobo to unlock this phone you have to set "alternative security bypass" in SETool Settings and you are going to need one credit ... all the support you need is at SETool support forum.

@needajob restauration files (rest) are used by SETool and some other professional tools to unlock CID49 phones
