ok, you need to give more background info before any of us really can help you.

before your phone got the WSOD, did you try unlocking your phone?
did you trying debranding/customizing your phone? If so, what files did you use?

and it probably isn't a hardware problem, because you phone can still turn on, and show the WSOD, and because your PC can detect your phone is plugged in. you're getting an error because your usb drivers were probably installed wrong the very first time and you need to uninstall them first before reinstalling them to remove any history. simply just reinstalling the drivers over the old one doesn't always work.

anyway, like i said before, you shoudl tell us what FS, MAIN, and custom files are on your phone, since improper MAIN, FS, and custom file combinations cause problems.
