I've already uploaded whole W850 acoustic driver to my K800 and I did not notice significant increase of volume, but I think the sound is a bit more clear. I've also noticed that the same song is much louder (but less clear!) if you set it as ringtone and call yourself than if you just play it in media player.

So, I came up with this idea. Can we take the farfield_ring.zapf from W850's acoustic driver, rename it to farfield_play.zapf and upload it to K800?

I don`t know why but all new phones released by SE have lower volume...
I really hope that SE will do new software to resolve this problem...I miss my w800`s volume
I heard many people having this problem with w810(low volume in headphones) but they resolved it by changing the acustic drivers...doing this to k800 is senseless..no improvement

I have heard that the W880 acoustics are louder.

i have to amplify each song with volume increased encoding and then put them to my phone but there must be a permanent solution ;)

if u want to amplify the volume of the song then use the software "Streambox Ripper" and convert it by raising the volume bar to full

k800 is a SE K series latest dimension, surely they wont improve too mch, SE will always leave a space for them to grow up...

K800 had 3G and Cybershot 2 major function...and is further up grade than k750...IT stuffs is like tat, if they complete all good function thing in a phone, wat they would let u suprise coming new model?

mayb sooner or later a better acoustic for k800 wil pop up...mayb rite? dun feel disapointed...SE wont let u down 1...
