a problem with my K610i

recently i decieded to get rid of that Orange Logo
so i satrted reading all these techinics and what so ever

but my problem right now is finding out what version am i using , and what kind of CID my phone is

i tried connecting my phone with a cable [while holding C button when the phone is shut down] but the problem is: niether the SX++ nor the SEETOOL are able to idenify my phone ... and my vista [64 bit edd] is starts trying to instal some SMEC drivers ... [which i don't know what are they] and fails each time ...

I think what you need is USB flah driver. Download it from here: http://www1.davinciteam.com/down.htm...lashDriver.zip

Extract its content to any convenient place in your hard. Turn off your phone, remove the battery, reinsert the battery, press the C button then insert your DCU-60 cable. When prompted by windows for the driver, point it to the place where you extracted the file that you've downloaded. Just follow the next series on instructions.

After that you may now use your XS++ to identify, flash, customize and upload any customizations that you have. Cheers!

would i be able geting rid of that ORANGE logo ?
is it possible for my phone [using XS++ ?]

yes you can get rid of logo by chosing generic and standard fw and fs

but as i mentioned i am quite new in this thing

so how excatly do i "explore" inside my phone and reach for the FSLAYOUt.xml file ?

You must connect your phone to XS++, RUN FSX, and then you can explore your phone file system and delete, write or upload new files. Then press only SHUTDOWN and disconnect phone.

open the link and find out wich language is yours and wich custpack you need and try to find a download for it.
then find a new firmware and upload it; be carefull i did firmware upload and got a config error when the phone was booting up, so i uploaded a custom pack with my language and it works great!
