Make Sure You Aren't Connecting Your USB To a Hub.
Remove You Battery For 5 seconds And Reinsert It.
Now Keep Pressing c Button And Insert Cable To Phone. Dont Release c Until Your Drivers Aren't Installed.
If Still Dosent Works Then Download And Install SEUS from Sony Ericsson - Sony Ericsson

Start It And Let It Detect Your Phone. When Its Ready TO Update Your Phone, Close It And Remove Your Phone. Then Connect It To Far. It Will Definately Work.

You did not gave us the model of your phone and its CID. But i think based on your description of your problem, you are working with a CID 49 phone such as K750i. In that case you need to flash your phone first with a "fake flash" (for K750i and W800i its k750w800_r2e_dcu.49r.ssw). Then you can now view the filesystem via FAR manager. Tou also need an appropriate rest file to be flashed back to your phone in order for your phone to turn on. Please give more details.
