I think the OP is talking about the flash themes, If thats the case they are definately disabled by orange, The OP should just flash un-branded firmware.

How can I explain this simple.
I select a theme.
it says 'setting theme'
then it says 'use theme wallpaper'
press 'yes'
AND IT WON'T MOVE ON THE MAIN SCREEN!!!
example Strobe theme is bars spinnin around,, on the menu they spin when I move to icon to icon. On the main screen where my network provider says Orange the 'theme wallpaper' in the background is supposed to move 'spinning bars' but its doe'snt
Well since everyone is pushing the idea that it isn't an animated theme, the only sure way you can check it is to open the theme up using like Sony Ericsson Themes Creator or some other theme creating program. If in the Display box where it shows you what your theme is suppose to look like and it does move, then its an issue with your phone and not with the theme being animated. If it doesn't move, then its as simple as your wallpaper isn't an animated one. Try checking it first and let us know if it actually is animated or not
Thanks Japan6 at least someone knows what I'm talking about
I think Orange have just disabled the option for theme wallpaper.
Still won't move.

So I take it you opened it up in a theme creator and it was moving? If yes, then I guess they disabled it, but i don't know they even disabled that. Have you tried uploading a .gif that was your screen resolution, and setting that as your wallpaper manually to see if that gets displayed and moves?
Yes I've tried a gif picture it moves in the 'pictures folder' but stays still when selected as 'use as wallpaper'.
hmm reflash it one more time and check
if it isnt that then u goota check ur mainware and FS as well as ur cust pack if they r compatiable
why don`t you flash it with a generic main and FS. that should solve your problem...
Yea, I would have to agree with everyone. I really doubt it could even possibly be a hardware problem. It woould have to be a software related one. If your willing to, a generic firmware would be the ideal way to go to get it working.
