You may only use embedded SE fonts specified in layout.xml file, truetype fonts not work with se phones.

You are mistaken. I have found in FS files with expansion *.ttf, that is fonts. It is supposed, that they are used by an insertion. BUT unfortunately not to the magician to find FS from z710i, but find from w710i. But they are identical!

Do you mean you can choose from embedded fonts, for example have a tiny font for messaging? Can you direct me to some details?

You can try this font: http://www.speedyshare.com/931542627.html . It is a bit thinner than original and looks good. Supports cyrillic, greek and west european symbols. Has tested on V630(K618) phone.
