Firstly hi to all , just found this forum and already got lots of helpful information,

my question is that i want to flash my W880 to get rid of the horrible orange software, to be honest not sure of what i will be needing software / firmware so any help would be greatly appreciated

First you will need access to download section ( so first read rules ) , next you will need software to flash ( Xs++ or setool lite ) , but then you will need firmware ( main , filesystem and custimization file ). The best thing is that you get xs++ and then you connect to phone and copy here all that it says about your phone . Then can we help you pick the firmware.

i flashed my w880 with xs++ with main an fs and now my call and end call keys dont work properly, they lauch the browser!

anybody know how i would go about fixing this? i have reflashed the fone but the problem wont go away

thats because now you have generic software on vodafone(?) branded phone. happened to me too after removing vodafone software and putting generic..

i've learn to live with it :)

By me is the same thing. I flashed my K800i. But that doesn`t bother me.

I think there is a patch available to change the keys but not sure.

Changing Function Of Keys, my call an endcall keys now start up my browser, so there is no patch for restoring them to there original function?!?!?!?!
