Rather Urgent - Repairing a W830i

Anyone who could help me out with this situation would have my sincere gratitude.

Here's the situation.
Me and my buddy both own W830i's and they appear to be from the same lot (1st 11 digits of IMEI match).

He took his w830i to get unlocked from someone that really didn't seem to know what they were doing. Now his W830i thinks its a W850i, and this guy who did the work, can't change it back and wont return his calls.

His phone now, cannot make phone calls anymore, and the camera feature reports that another application is using it. He's freaking out and wont stop bugging me, to try and fix it, as I am more computer savvy than him.

Is there a way I can fix this situation? (Such as transfer a copy of my firmware to his phone?)

Any suggestions would be helpful.

flash it with W830 firmware if u don't know what firmware to select post up a xs++ log and i'll tell u

Yeah, flashing the phone can solve this problem... Asw it is not hardware related one :)

according the tutorial have i seen before, there are 2 files needed to be flashed into the phone

1. FIrmware
2. FS Files

Is the files that i have is enough ? or where do i get the FS files
