V630 to W660

Hello.I have a V630 and I converted it to W660.I like it very much the way it is now,however,I want to disable the walkman bug.Is there something I can do???I thought we could create a menu.ml that every time we run Walkman or File Manager,the Face Warp runs automatically...Someone help?

If you don't want the camera, you can delete the camera drivers then the walkman should work without bugs.
Basicly, the walkman works when the camera is "busy" and for some reason, deleting the cam drivers makes the phone think the camera busy.
The only problem with this is, you've guessed it, you have no camera.

Hi.Thanks for your reply.I know this method,however,my job requires both camera and music AND battery.I would like to have camera and walkman.As I said,we could create a menu.ml that every time we run Walkman or File Manager,the Face Warp runs automatically so the phone functions are exacly like W660.So....someone help?

i think, that it is impossible...:cool: you have only 2 ways: run FaceWarp or Delete both camdrivers.

until now, we don't really know what is the connection between walkman and camera. people are trying to find out, so, when a solution will come, you will find out

LE: I am 99.99 % sure that the problem is caused by the radio. Here Can i convert k530i to .... - Top Sony Forums , bazz_1337 flashed his K530 to W660 without problems. Guys, we found the thing that caused us problems. If someone could edit the FS and MAIN, try to find the RADIO part and eliminate it, the K610/K618/V630i to W660 transformation would be completed.

i've made a menu.ml that puts a link to facewarp on the main menu
the good thing is that when you apply a flash menu, the link isn't there so everything looks normal
but when you go to make a shortcut (ie, to the toolbox menu or to the up down left right keys) it brings up what it finds on the menu.ml

i've mapped my right key to it, so i hit it to start facewarp, then as soon as it starts i press the walkman button. you can then exit facewarp using the toolbox menu, so the walkman 2.0 still has the nice menu transitions, but you should be careful not to minimise it and reopen it again, or it will freeze..

pm me for menu.ml if you want it. note: you must have facewarp installed (durr)

@dmoe:That's so unfair!!!!Why the h**l this happens to us?I have a V630 and want to convert it to W660 NORMALLY!!!!!!And I cant,because of this fu**ing radio problem...Someone help...Modify FS and MAIN...

NO:( We must wait for DB2020 patches... Now we can only run everytime FaceWarp or delete both camdrivers (i do it)
