k530 language change

i have a v630 flashed to k530. it works superb, but i only have english language. does anyone knows how i can add romanian language?

lol that post looks familiar. now since you say your phone is flashed to a k530, im going to assume your phone is a cid 52. Now you can deffinitly add the romanian language that way, but from my understanding of the newer cid phones, copying the files back from the phone to your comp to edit them are a little bit more tricky and i haven't updated the tut yet (haven't had the time) to include those extra steps, so i would suggest that since your looking for just one specific language and not a mixture of random languages that are not included in any one specific firmware, that you should just flash your phone with a new firmware. Now this is where i would normally suggest to look on the languages description page, but it isn't updated with your specific phone, so as an educated guess i would suggest either MEDITERR, ORANGE_GEN, or VFE_LIVE_3 as the FS to flash with.

another thing is that i only have as language option english. wtf? in far i saw about 6 languages, but i can only select 1? why? i extracted the mediterr files and copied ro language files with far. again, i can only select english. i don't want to reflash my phone, because i customized menu, drivers, messaging and some other stuff in him. my phone is flashed with K530_R8BB001_MAIN_GENERIC_NC_RED52, K530_R8BB001_FS_EUROPE_4_RED52 and customized with HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_4_R8A_GENERIC_MEDITERR. are there any solution, beside flashing?

i resolved it. reflashed my phone with mediterr fs, and now i have romanian language. but i wished that there was another method beside reflashing

there would have been, but like i said, there would be more steps. Since your phone has a higher cid, it makes it difficult to edit some of the files. If your phone had the language files in the folders, then you would still need to edit the customize.xml file which can be done easy enough with a costomize_upgrade.xml file but you would still have to edit the allowed language files file thats on the phone as well. So you just flashing the phone was the easiest possible solution you could have done. As long as you got those language files on that phone thats all that matters right? Even though its a pain, you can always take the time and customize everything again. Good to hear it worked out for you though.
