Maybe the camera lens-switch has snapped off? Mine did when i changed a cover on a k750 to w800. Have you tried changing the current camera, and using it in another phone, to really see if it's broken? Otherwise, the contact areas on the card may be broken (or dirty if you're lucky).

Flash phone with other FW (not the same you have) and check. Maybe it help.
