Vodafone branded k750i menu.ml problems

I download new menu for k750 and instal its on my cell phone, now I have a problem, when I go to menu, This error message is showed "Configuration error". please help me to solve my problem,

You shouldn't use custom menu to branded phone. Try to unbrand first, then use the custom menu.

as dingh said, since your phone is branded, ur phone company has made restrictions on what you can and can't do with your phone...i don't know if u know this, but by umbranding you make your phone have the normal setting of the phone when it was made by the manufacturer, and all the restrictions you had go away. Doing this you have more options to play around with ur phone n modify it

Dears there is no restrictions on use of customized menu on branded phone. I have K750i Red 36 Vodafone branded and used customized menu from Top Sony and never have had any problem. Problem faced by mysecell60 could be because of missing menu file or menu.ml or layout.xml file.

mysecell60, can you please tell us that what menu you used and does it include layout.xml and how you installed customized menu on your phone.

That's true! :) I had k750 Red 36 Vodafone branded and I flashed it to w800 and customized menu works fine on it too. :)

If you flash K750 with W800, then you phone no longer branded. Unless you flash with branded w800.

Dingh is right. After flashing to a different modell or even a different FW version (as long as you flash a new FS either) the phone gets unbranded. Actually it is the best way to unbrand the phone.

But there can be some minor problems when using customized menus on brand phones. I had my cid49 k750 branded with O2 UK and after uploading new menu, some icons stayed the same as before, some dissapeared completely and some looked weird. It can happen... After I debranded, everything was fine. So I think mysecell60's problem could be related to the branding. Maybe not the only problem (missing layout or menu file is highly probable) but the branding can make it worse...

u should try to flash ur phone 1st....then try to put files in ur phone.....sometimes it works sometimes isnt....


put ur menu.ml back where it was again.....and try another menu icons....

it happens to me sometimes, u should remove ur battery for 20 seconds after modifying the menu.ml file.

Try some other menu.mp files+icons.I think that it will work
