I agree with cavior, because do not exists computer like (self copier, self modifier) viruses for non smartphones. But there are a few, some sort of malware java applications for 'normal' phones. And you MUST install and start it to 'infect' your phone, cannot copy itself from phone to phone...Can a normal (not smartphone) be infected with a virus?
Ex. RedBrowser.A - this is a kind of troian horse. It is written for J2ME enabled phones, and promise free wap/internet access if you let the program to send one SMS, but in reality it will send a lot of SMS, and of course you do not get any internet access...What could a virus do
No need the master reset. Just delete it like an ordinary application.and would master reset help?
If you don't allow the unknown applications to send SMS, MMS, etc. then the problem solved. But in case you applied the remove_java_retrictions patch on your phone then these malwares can do anything like a signed application, and for sure can make your bill enormous...
