Don't you put it in the "GDFS Script" box?
(I'm completely new to flashing etc. so 80% chance that I'm wrong)

change the icons, but not they're names, just replace picture not picture name.

my problem is big. i tried two media player icon sets. first set had more custom icons than second. so now i have mixed sets of icons. for some reason sometiomes my phone changes it's mp icons to stock ones, with that some other functions of the phone stop working, when i press on/off button, the phone switches off immediately, whitout shutdown animation.

    what is the prob

I think you should delete those icons(delete every single file from tpa\system\multimedia\mp), then check if the problems persists.

I read somewhere that changing media player icons will cause a lot of problems, but the sysgfx patch(you can change every icon in your phone) works well.

You do not need to reflash, just delete the files located in "tpa\system\multimedia\mp" folder.

NO. The menu modding is bug free :D

I mean the menu modding(when you edit the menu.ml file) works fine, but the media player modding is another question(some people say it works fine others say not)...
I modded my media player look just for check if it will cause bugs(like in your case), and my result is: YES, it will cause a lot of problems(at least for me :) ).
