i heard you can change menu icons. how can i do that?

Sorry, but I don't understand your question(probably it's my fault :)) Can you be more specific? You want to create new menu icons, or you want to replace say Internet Services with Opera Mini?

You cannot apply patches with XS++. Use SeTool2 Lite. But your phone must be EROM CID49.
How to do? In SeTool2 Lite select phone type, then browse to *.vkp in "MISC files", click on Write SCRIPT button and follow the instructons. But first backup your GDFS.
