hummm....maybe try to call up another provider like AT&T and ask them for the unlock code, not sure if the provider matter because it is just an algorithm from SE that i believe they match up with the IMEI number. worst that can happen is they say no. if that fails, i would try SE's tech. give them the a story about how your provider will not unlock your phone and you need to do so because you are traveling out of the country and they should b able to help you out.

you can do that? i think its not that easy to get the unlock code. because what is the reason they insert the unlock code at first? they are using the unlock code because they dont want the people using their handphone with other provider. They have paid for that handphone.

if you want to traveling out of the country, maybe they said that you can use their international roaming, which is a little bit "pricey".. thats it..

don't send you IMEI. just call up your provider and tell them you want to unlock your phone for international use. in a few hours you have the steps to unlock your phone. that knowledge is worth $30.

yes, thats why they want us to use the int'l roaming.. hehehe

but i read in another thread, for AT&T they will give you your unlock code if you already 90 days registered..

anyone know that for orange(france), can we ask for unlock code to?

i once had on my pc an exe file SEcalc was the name, that calculated very well unlock codes for OLD SE phones like t100, t105, t230... but i tried it for a k700 and didn't work so i deleted it... i guess it is possible to unlock any SE by code.

i think so, but you can ask your provider.. because i read in another thread thats for AT&T you must wait for 90 days.. i dont know for other provider (either they will give the code, and also how long after you buy that phone..)

u can unlock but u need necessary eqipment such as top sony membership for modding your phone.
