    Question Bin/gdf/sbn

    I know that gdf is for repairing damage eeprom, but what is bin and sbn files
    are use for ?:confused:

    Usually the firmware (MAIN/FS) will have this format.

    *.bin is the firmware file

    *.bin the format of firmware file used to flash the phone

    That are flash (gDFS, MAIN or FS) file formmats to use with different flash programs...

    Well, if you have saved your own gdfs then just rewrite it again with XS++ 3.0 If not use only other phone (same model only) gdfs if you are really desperate.

    If we use other phone model gdfs, then we will break it further. Any other way, please let us know especially who has lost gdfs.

    Some .bin firmwares are encrypted and useless, careful.

    .bin is the file type for binery files generally in computing, not just specific to phone firmwares.
    .mbn and .sbn I understand to be binery files for MAIN, and FS respectively for flashing phones.
