Need A Little Bit Of Help Regarding K750i Flashing, Really counting on you guys...

I seem to have a slight problem after flashing my k750i (CID 49, Red, db2010, R1CA021). I flashed it with w800i R1BC002 with XS++ and it was successful. I have been using it for the past one month with no problem whatsoever except for a slight hitch. Xs++ says “IMEI name does not match GDFS name…IMEI: NULL GDFS: W800”. Also, when I try to retrieve the GDFS it says ”failed sending header: 0X11…apparently there is a file missing” but it also says that the GDFS operation was successful. Now this isn’t causing me any problems except the fact that I cannot use GPRS for some reason. I tried to reload the settings more than a couple of times. Some people are telling me this is a GDFS corruption, while others are telling me this is no problem at all. Amateur that I am, I wasn’t bright enough to back up my GDFS and now I don’t know what to do. Here are my questions:

1. Is this a GDFS problem? If yes, then what do I do? I believe I can write a clean GDFS to my phone, but afaik I need a cruiser/service/fighter cable for that which I am trying to acquire. Am I right? I also do not know how to write the new GDFS.

2. If this is not a GDFS problem, then what could possibly have gone wrong that I cannot use GPRS?

3. This might be a weeny bit off the topic, but I also flashed the phone with a custom camera driver. I just used FSX in XS++ to write camdriver0.dat. However I notice no difference in my camera quality or any of the features which the driver promises. Do I need to do something more?

P.S. I do realise that this question might have been answered in some other topic somewhere else but I did not manage to find it. I am losing my sleep and I would feel far better if any of the knowledgeable modders personally answered my queries. I am a newbie and I am trying to learn and it becomes very difficult without any help. I will be looking forward to some kind of assistance regarding my problems.

i did sumthin i kno i was not meant to do and now i am screwed...i tried backing up my gdfs (which worked) and rewrote it and then my fone turned into a brick...i have no clue what to do now... sad.gif

Just flash Main or rest file!

WARNING!!!

ON SOME DB2010 CID49 (K750/W800/D750) YOU WILL NEED TO REFLASH MAIN FIRMWARE OR REST FILES AFTER USING FSX OR ANY GDFS OPERATIONS.

First of all if ur phone is bricked ryt now... i recommend full flash that is Main + FS + Customize.

GDFS: there is nothing wrong with ur GDFS if u backed it up successfully.
(the only thing u should remember is that NEVER use GDFS from another phone! no matter same make/model...)

GPRS: if ur phone tries to connect but couldnt.. use the right customization for ur country.

try and make ur service provider send u the GPRS settings (better than manual settings input as it may avoid mistakes)

well i got the bricked phone flashed... main gdfs and fs from sum1 who i thought knew what he was doing but now the situation is like this. the fone starts and all the phone functions seem to be active, i mean i can make a call, change the ringtone and all that..BUT i have to do it blindly because all i get is a blank white screen. i updated the flashed firmware using seus, but that doesn't change anything. all i have at my hand is a fully functional phone with no display...the guy who fixed it says my lcd is screwed up, fact of the matter is, he opened the phone, connected another lcd and showed my that it was working fine...i cannot possibly comprehend how my lcd cud've gone kaput. sumbdy plz tell me that its some other problem and that i don hafta pay 60$ to get a new lcd...

christ why did i hafta be a dumbfuk...its just a 1 month old phone :(

If it is not hardware problem, flashing the EROM MAIN and FS now using XS++ can solve the problem... If you lCDis damaged I agree with MadMax71 :D
