Branded firmware vs Stock

Just wondering if there is any advantage of having a stock firmware on a W810i vs a branded firmware. If there is, will the phone have better reception and faster menu? If not, what are the disadvantage?

branding it's something like CDA but it's made by operator, so there's no difference between branded or stock phone.

Thanks. I was thinking maybe there were some advantages of going stock over branding because most people like to run stock firmware. I know with motorolas I owned in the past, alot of fokes claimed to have better reception and other improvement after going stock. Thought this would be the case with Sony Ericsson.

yes branded firmware will have many restrictions usually and many crap things
and many stuff disabled

like vodafone branded w910 has shake feature disabled ... just find out what's not there in your phone

its really easy to debrand just flash in firmware using XS++ there are many guides out there for that .. !

in the standard unbranded firmware, the phone is faster, reception is no better, but branded firmware has many resrictions and the standard firmware doesn't
