chichi, you can flash with main hong kong, fs and a customized file. it wouldn't affect your sim card. as I have done the same thing with ma phone and I'm with rogers as well. my phone is still locked. i have flashed my w580i few times now with different mains ans fs, all with out any problems. so I'm sure you would be able do it too... good luck flashing :) P.S. for unlocking w580i I have searched around and didn't have any good ones, the phone is fairly new on the market, so the unlocking options are very limited. try give Rogers a call and ask them if they can unlock it for you. sometime they will do it for some unknown reason. BEST PART IS IT'S TOTALLY FREE!! ;)
