Hey, help with 580i, debranding

This site as been referred to by other, and it looks like you guys know what your doing.

I could really use some help, can i have a guide to debrand a w580i black from at&t, and i'd really appreciate it if it was complete, and if it included a backup or failsafe(or the closest thing to it) method as well, and free of course ;)

you may want to try searching around the forums first. search can be a powerful tool...

the link given by bagman is a real good one, follow it and things would work good , but DO make sure that your phone is UNLOCKED before you debrand it..
i just made this mistake yesterday , and now my phone won't my sim

It's not necessary to be unlocked. Just pick a generic custom and that's all.
And be sure to backup your GDFS first with SE Tool.

i thiink seatool is better. Look up some guides on it its alot easier than xs++ imo
