w810 unbrand + new security model

Hi guys,

i'm trying to unbrand a w810 for my friend and it seems like it's acting a bit weird. I have previously unlocked my k790 and another w580 without a problem. I have posted the logs from setool.

The phone is fully functional and works perfectly. Does anyone have any ideas? As far as i know, there hasn't been any tempering with the phone until today.

did you choose W810 at Phone type? if it's not working use the older option with XS++ and FAR

Well if you wish to get it done the fast and easy way, just go to the wotan server website. There you can buy a credit, download the client and flash the phone within a few minutes. A guide is available for assistance and it's pretty straight forward.

I've previously unbranded a W810 with new security model too. I've tried using FAR and XS++, it failed.

I've then downloaded SETOOL2lite and it worked.

I've choose W810 as phone type,

then for the files column, i've added main firmware first, then FS second. I then pressed flash.

after the flash finished, I've removed the battery, then put it back in. I've went and downloaded a Custom Pack (.zip file). also i've pressed clear for the Files Column.

i've put the .zip file (Custom Pack) into the MISC Files. then pressed flash again

then for the files column, I added main firmware first(W810_R4DB005_MAIN_GENERIC_HN_RED50), then FS second(W810_R4DB005_FS_EUROPE_5_RED50)
I then put the .zip file (Custom Pack CDA102494_4_R3A_Generic_Trade_United_Kingdom) into the MISC Files. then pressed flash... all working fine and unbranded... still got the esl lock so I'm stuck with tmobile till I find out how to remove the esl lock. :(
my w810 is DB2012 is this a problem?

Hey Sookie,

I am a n00b, so I may be wrong, but I would have used another MAIN. Theres one for d/l on here which matches the FS you used - "W810_R4DB005_FS_EUROPE_5_RED50" would this make a difference?
