This happened to me with a w700... Flashing MAIN and FS with XS++. The phone works while not customized. When I customize it with XS++ it was dead. After flashing again MAIN ans FS the phone works... So I used FAR manager K750 CID49 boot scripts and k750 MAIN SSW firmware (5 flashblocks) to open the W700 with far manager and put the custom files... Then the phone worked...

Anyway i didn't succeeded to finalize it using XS++ :(

dear capawuasta!, though u feel ur phone is brick, it still can be put to life back and for that u need to flash the firmware once again by downloading in top sony.

else u can use some old version of XS++ for flasing and cutomization.
if ur phone is dead try other versions of frimware. u will surely get it. but u have to do the proper cutomization. i had the same problem for my phone

HI,

I have tried everything but the phone is not working yet.
I have followed all instructions, flashed MAIN, FS and REST file but nothing!!

At last, I have tried this procedure, which I have found some where suggested in a forum:

I start Setool lite,
I connect the phone and I press REPAIR/UNLOCK and I follow the instruction.
Then, I unplug the usb cable and the phone battery.
I reinsert the battery and I connect the phone with setool lite and I press FLASH without selecting any file. I follow all the instruction.

Now finally my phone switch on and it is possible to recharge the battery, but I receive the message :

CONFIGURATION ERROR. Please contact your network operator or service centre.

Is there any one who knows what to do??
Do I need to make the customization??

Configuration error means something wrong with custom pack.. did you use it in Setools? it goes into mIsc tab as the complete zip. Atleast your fone's on the verge of coming back to life!!
The official setools site (setool.net i THINK) has useful video tutorials..

It not only went wrong it WASNT uplaoded.I would try XS++ (its easily to use)

custpack goes in tpa/preset/custom, and it must match your firmware

I had the same problem with FSX and reflashing on XS++ 2.x version. and everytime my phone died, I just reflashed it with SEUS... it helped me a lot... 5 to 10 times actually.... :))))

hi! flashing with xss++ is easier. Install dcu 60 usb cable driver of your phone before flashing, drivers can be had from top sony download section.
