w600i help please!!!

hey guys, i've done alotta reading and alotta troubleshooting but so far nothing seems to solve my problem. I first wanna thank any1 for takin the time to give any advice.

I also have a W600 and i've gone thru the steps with the same FS and MAIN firmware version and did NOT successfully complete the flashing/debranding. The reason for this is becuz it kinda froze on me on the 'activating Filesystem' screen. This is using version 1, 1.2, 3, and 3.1 of XS++. I'm not currently at home so i have yet to try SETools2Lite (but i do have the program, just gotta look up on how to use it)..so the problem is the customizing to finalize the procedure. i've tried with the CDA's given in XS++ that go accordingly with my FS/Main whether it be america1 or america2 (i have both FS AM1 and AM2, tried both, neither made a difference)...i've even tried using the FAR manager to manually input the files into the correct folders within the TPA directory...still no luck (unless i did something wrong there, because after that attempt the phone wouldn't even turn on)...so i reflashed it and it froze again at the 'activating filesystem' screen again....the first time it did this, i let it continue for +8hrs....but the battery died on the phone and so i had to stop the procedure. Sorry for making this post so long but this isn't actually my phone. it's a friends and i said i'd do this favor for him. Any suggestions guys?....(i've also downloaded CDA's from this site both that are for the phone specifically...(rogers - Canada))

i forgot to also mention that i tried using the SE update tool itself and that didn't work either....it gives me that darn "contact administrator' screen or whatever it says....i'd just like the phone back in working order, whether debranded/unlocked or not...
