w600i help please!!!

I have searched this forum with a fine tooth comb and still can't find what i'm doing wrong...my w600i had the WSOD, i'm in the united states using cingular, i flashed with xs++ using
"W600_R7CA017_MAIN_GENERIC_EE_RED49.mbn" "W600_R7CA017_FS_AMERICA_1_RED49.fbn" "W600i_CDA102453_17_022706_Cingular_Wireless_U SA" (custpack)

still get "Configuration error. Please contact your network operator or service center"

what's the missing piece of this puzzle?

There is one little thing missing in your configuration and this is the right CDA (custom pack) file. Because you are trying to flash a FS file for AMERICA 1 zone, you should use a CDA (custom pack) for AMERICA 1.

If you want to flash your W600 phone successfully, you have to use the following files:
- W600_R7CA017_MAIN_GENERIC_EE_RED49
- W600_R7CA017_FS_AMERICA_1_RED49
- W600i_CDA102453_120905_120905_Generic_Trade_USA_AM ERICA_1

Then try AMERICA 2 or LAM AMERICA files!
And try to follow the corect steps for firmware flashing.

If you use a generic firmware file together with corresponding FS and CDA files, the phone must work for sure. If not, it's got got to be a bigger problem with it that may require service.

By the way, what software do you use for firmware flashing?
If you use XS++, consider using SETool2Lite. It is more stable.
