java apps causing phone to restart!!..help!

i applied a couple of .vkp patches..to remove java restrictions,use camera button for flashlight..radio without headset..now when i try to increase volume in a java app or game, the phone restarts..!!:confused:..i removed the java restriction patch and i used the halmer certificate instead.. but the problem still persists..what do i do?..

Remove patches one by one until the problem persists. The last patch you remove will be the faulty.
Or you can reflash the MAIN firmware, and of course you need to reapply those pathes if you want to use them...

I think there's a conflict between patches. One patch uses that button for something, and another patch for something else.
Another thing you might wanna do is increase the volume before you start the app/game.

I agree, i had same problem with a phone here, and was a conflict beetwen two patches, i remos BOTH and the problem stop... :)

k..i mite sound like a noob..but what all files do i need to flash main?..can i do it using xs++?
