    Language change for W710i

Hello I would like to language change my W710i. It was bought from the UK online so technically from Europe. I would like either Simplified Chinese or Traditional Chinese. Is this possible?

yes, of course it is possible. You only need to flash the FS with the right langage and to put a chines custompack on it. Here in this forum are very meny treads about flashing and cutomizing so when you don't know how to do it just use the search option.;)

So if I want traditional Chinese I download:
    W710c_CDA102566_201_R7A_Generic_Trade_China_China - Custom pack.
What do I need to flash it? and it's that all I need?

Flash the FS(W710_R1JC002_FS_CHINA_RED52 ) with XS++ and customize it through FAR Manager with SEFP Plugin for cid_52 and pot the custom files in folder FS/tpa/preset/custom.

when the Far is too difficult for you you can also use setool2 lite

Okay thanks man, so I don't need to flash the main firmwire just the file system which is: W710_R1JC002_FS_CHINA_RED52 and then use setool2 lite to customise it with W710c_CDA102566_201_R7A_Generic_Trade_China_China Custom pack.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but you will need to flash the main firmware. I've done it before one my w810i and my roomates k750i and the gf's roomates w550i, they all needed the chinese main in order to display the characters. Not much more work than what your doing already though so it hopefully shouldn't be to much more of a problem.

Japan66 is right. you will need the chinese firmware aswell! if you need Traditional Chinese on you phone, download the HONG KONG firmware not the china one as it will have simplified chinese on it...
