    need help dead phone fixable?

Ok last month i joined these forums before then i never knew it existed
and people here really seem helpful.

my first post was about my w810i phone
    http://www.topsony.com/forum/showthread.php?p=39833

up to now i haven't been able to fix it and would like to know am i wasting my time should i just replace the phone with another? as now it wont even turn on

SEUS gets to 96% updating then freezes

I have a gdfs backup of the phone before i did anything to it with my computer (phone was turning on screen was white, speakers never worked, people would ring the phone and get a static if i tried to answer it and somehow the vibrate function of the phone would work and the alarm would constantly go off vibrating)

got a little off topic there but

would like to know if u lot feel my phone is salvageable? or should i just buy a newer model

    thanks in advance

    welcome to the club

anyway try flashing the phone with the right firmware, use log files to find out which is your firmware, and flash it back

I read through your other thread. What's going on with your phone right now?
Not turning up at all just the red light flashing or is it turning on but only showing you a white screen?
If it's just the red light flashing you'll have to write a EROM to your phone and do a full flash (MAIN,FS and custpack).
If it's showing you a whitescreen a fullflash could fix it.
Have you taken it to the service center yet? If you've still got warranty that would be the first thing you should do. Tell them what your problem is, tell them you tried SEUS but do NOT tell them you tried to do anything with SE Tool etc. if you did that.

the phone doesn't turn on at all
when i connect phone to computer nothing shows up
when connecting to Setool and all that when i plug cable in it automatically connects to phone i don't need to hold c (could c be held down somehow preventing phone from starting up?)

also the red light does not blink at all

when i plug the charger in i get a steady red light

What do you mean "several logs"? Did you perform actions with se tool(flashing etc.).
First of all the log you get when you connect the phone.
If you've done any other actions with SE Tool lite you could attach the whole log.
But start off with the log when you just connect.

if you have time, please try to "Identify" with SeTool and post that log. As I know if the red light is blinking then the EROM is damaged.
