Exclamation Sony Ericsson 618i software problem

i hope some one can help me

i have a SE 618i and a message pop-up saying memory almost full and i ignored it.

i go to write messages to send sms. when i'm typing it hanged, i cannot turn it off and all the keys are disabled so i quickly remove the battery and wait for 3 minutes and put it back.

    now this is the problem

i turn ON my phone and i saw the SE logo and select phone instead of flight. after that it began to reboot and so on. now when i turn it ON, it's pure white on the lcd.

i got to the nearest SE service center but they don't have a software for it coz it was not released locally in the philippines.

    thanks

We've got APAC firmware, containing "Philippine-Tagalog". That's the language you need, isn't it? Unfortunately you don't have the permissions to download yet.
You can buy an account or wait.

    @ justme

    thanks for the reply.

to tell you honestly, i really don't know what i'm looking for and i don't know what kind of problem that struck my phone. all i know is it doesn't want to boot and direct me to a normal screen. the Sony Ericsson service center is no help. they only said that it was not locally available so no software is available.

i'm really broke to buy that and i don't have a credit card.

Hm try to do EROM update using Online de-branding and software upgrade service SonyEricsson (SE) mobile phones | WotanServer.com. Download its client, don't put anything on username/password, read their guide on how to update EROM. Seems you have older EROM that have bugs when not closed/turn off properly.

Well updating EROM is on wotanserver. Just make sure you don't put anything on the login/password.

Do you have a DCU-60 cable? (The one you got when you bought the phone)
You could try to do a SEUS update (official Sony Ericsson Update Service) first. It's free.
You can find SEUS on the official SE homepage.
I don't think you have a damaged EROM.
The flashing programs are free but you'll need the firmware files.
