After quite a headache trying to restore my internet, mms and e-mail settings after flashing my phone, I stumbled upon this link from another forum and it works perfect and very easily..
Just a few clciks and you will have all of your settings back..

I* don't quite understand your question ??? What dosen't connect ? SE sends the files to your phone.. all you have to do is accept them and it sets up the phone automatically.

Yeah the sony ericsson settings site is a better choice, i used the o2 settings wizard before which worked ok too but the vodafone one just wouldnt send the settings accross.

I get the sms, it installs. I turn off my phone, turn it back on, and set the internet profile to the one just installed, but it still won't connect to the net.

Yeh It's work and easy but another way you can edit Customize.xml in custompack before flash you phone if in your customize.xml doesn't have <internet>.....</internet>. just seach which one has profile and copy all of Operator in your country or which one you selected into your cmz.xml then save it and then after you flashed phone you must have profile internet for wap and MMS in your phone.

but saving a sms is much easier i guess...normally the provider provides the same service...
