XS++, Stuck on Activating filesystem

Right, I tried it with America_1 from the Customization selection in XS 3.1, but I still am not ale to get it to work... Also, there are quite a few America_1 in customization... which one will work? Sorry... I am quite a noob to this stuff

drownage if you use america_1 file system you must customize it for america_1, not for emea_2, or you can use emea_2 file system and emea_2 customization.
Now I see in your xs log that you choosed america_1 customization, sorry. Anyway I had same problem with my w700, tried 4-5 xs++ versions and same problem everytime. Then I flashed my phone using SETool and it worked! There was no configuration error anymore

I flashed my phone with xs and when it was stuck on file system activating i tried with setool. I was very confused, couldn't find any tutorial about setool so I clicked ... at the Firware upgrade pack: and browsed for main firmware, fs was also in that folder, then selected Flash and when it was successfull

It said HDR block not accepted... i tried the file r7ca017_CXC1123106_NAM_1_EE

Any more ideas?

EDIT: I made sure I am using the right file... but wut is "HDR block not accepted"?

I used W700_R1CA021_MAIN_EU_1_CR_RED49.mbn and W700_R1CA021_FS_EMEA_2_RED49.fbn I think you should wait for help from somebody who is really experienced with flashing. Be patient, I wish you luck with repairing your phone

The reason you couldnt use XS++ is most probably because you dont have the correct loaders.

Extract the attachment at the bottom of this post to your XS++ directory (XS++\loaders) and XS++ should work fine ;)

Oh ok... u uploaded the wrong loaders for me anyways... I have CID49 db2010, but I got it to work with SETool, just adding the MAIN NAM and AMERICA 1 FS files and using a zip file with a tpa folder i mentioned in my previous post which i put in the misc option and i clicked flash and it worked :)

mine hangs..im using the proper America1 cda that goes according to my FS and MAIN (which are america1 as well)....i've tried using version 1, 1.2, 3, and 3.1...still no luck...it keeps hanging on 'activating file system' on my w600

ejjeffay W600i will have problems with both XS++ and FAR..ulimited problems dude.. i got a W550i so i guess everything is the same(apart from the fact that you got EDGE)..

Use Setool2 Lite..not FAR or XS++.. neither works..
Anyway ,just in case , the whole thing being stuck at Activating File sytem migh mean the FS file you are using is corrupt. So id recommend getting a new FS and corresponding cust pack files and reflashing using ONLY Setool.
Infact there are video tuts of setool.net if you have problems!
