Remove mini gps

hi all, i just want to talk about mini gps in w700i. I have patch it, i think it's not work. Anyone can tell why?. And i want to remove it!

You created that minigps.ini file with the correct content?
It works for me, but stoppes updating sometimes. Maybe there is a bug in the patch.

Which program did you use for patching? Some (e.g. GFlash) has an remove-patch option.

i don't know about minigps.ini, i just patch my phone with minigps.vkp and i use farmanager to do it. where i can get gflash?, how to remove it? can u tell me?.

You patched your phone without reading the instructions in the patch? Interesting.
You can search for GFlash on se-nse.com but FAR has a remove patch option too.

I am a hungaryan user, we've got a lots of information about the MiniGPS!

The use of this patch is very easy! First Flash your phone as U like with Gflash, or Far maneger. Second step to make a new folder in your phone in /tpa/user/other/ini/. This is the Other map in your C: drive of your phone. (4example U can see it with the MiniCommander.jar) The ini file must be copied there. The form of the file is lik this:

; MiniGPS CellDatas
;
[LogFolder] : /tpa/user/other/ini/
; If U use this folder for Log files, then the program will make log every day
; about your position with hour:minits pair like this: 12:04 - [ABC1:0012] London, Airport
;
; Your work is writing your cell codes, (or find a filled minigps.ini) like this
;
[0026:EA14]: City or Conty name, Street, place or other information
; (Vodafone)

After U fill it to your phone, at next time You will see the text in your phone, not the cell Datas...

I know it looks a little hard work, but We made a database to recording these cells...
