hi to every one in the past days i did read about unlocking with patch i did try this patch:

but it doesnt work i had annother firmware version and i did change it to this version with setool lite just to unlock my phone and it doesnt work with me it write this :

i want to knoy what to do to unlock it and why this method didnt work with me because i see every one is thankful and it does work with every one and i knoy that the problem isnt in my phone because its a new one and i didnt even use it yet,

Phone with cid higher then 49 can't be unlock for free. Use D-client from home page of Top Sony.

well paladintluka i did try d-client and when i want to unlock my phone it says (it is not db2020 phone can't unlock it) thanks any ways
and i belive that there r allways a free way because all said the same for Nokia BB5 phones and now we can unlock the most of them only with USB cable DKU-2/DKU-5.
so give me a break

You have to use the firmware matching to the patch (R4EA031).

well i did try the same patch u r talking about and it didnt work eather it says the same :confused:

As just me said you have to match the firmware to the patch, you cant use a CID49 patch on a CID 50 handset, you are lucky you didnt brick your phone, Just wait it out a bit and see what the wizards on here and se-nse come up with, Otherwise if you cant wait use a paid solution, i had to pay 50 euro's to get my w580i umlocked!!!!
