it seems that hardware has to do with it ... but theres still the software side. the compressor used has a lot to do with the video quality

You can't, because the shutter speed is limited by physics. The good phones have a high photon storing potential that allows those videos to be great like on the n95

chill, i don't think recording with my like camcorder, i only thought you can increase the bitrate a little bit so i don't see compression glitches
