i just bought myself a w580i it is unlocked.
does that mean it has flash on it, if not could u plz send the file and instuctions on how to flash it thnx.

did you try to apply a flash theme, there are factory installed flash themes on the phone.
if it has a generic firmware it should be flash enabled. check your firmware in service menu (>*<<*<* >< = directional keys right and left)

do you mean how to flash it or the do only want the flash themes ? ... if u only want the flash themes then follow khaba what he said ...
and if you want to flash the whole phone, as you can see theres so manay instruction and tuts in this forum ...

Or you might want to flash with XS++2.2 to latest unbranded firmware.

Flash is a place where firmware and customization files are stored. Why doyou want to flash the phone? What exactly do you want to do?

I really got confuse now. Does he wants flash lite (macromedia) theme or to flash a firmware?

Seems what he ask is that his branded phone does not support flash lite theme and the unbranded SE support flash theme. And the reason he ask is that he already unbrand his phone and want to know how to use flash lite theme????

Not sure what you mean by 'does it have floash on it' - all the phones have been flashed during manufacture, with EROM, + Main + FS then finalised, There are Flash files in the downloads section for upgrading yr phone to latest firmware ets. There are also themes etc. - see the tutorials section.

Yes, all unlocked W580i's should have flash theme compatibility, unless you bought a dodgy one from some Chinese pawn shop...

OK, I remember in 1 post that you need to explicitly enable it (Flash lite theme) in the customization file. So you may look into the custom XML file and look something about FLASH and ENABLE, edit it accordingly, then re customize again your phone using that file.

download flash files first check ur phone CID then download flash files use x++ for flashing
