Hi,
I Would like to rebrand my w580 to be able to exchange it (on warranty) where can I found the firmware?
by the way my problem is that I hear some garbage noise on the speaker, my girls friend have exactly the same model and it’s sound a lot better, anyone got the same problem?

Did you install any acoustic files on it? I found that the w580 left alone has the best acoustics for headset. I tried a TON and when i rebranded it the 3rd time it had alot better call volume.

The debrand is worth it drfsol, I had that problem on my w810i but it was unlocked already.
Debrand the rogers with the newest update and you should be good to go man.

If you want to rebrand, you would have had to make a backup of your origianl FW. I heard of a lot of problems with rebranding with another persons backup...

How do you make a back up of your current firmware? What software is available? Also, will it backup the FW, FS, and Customization pack?

Interesting happened to me when I rebrand my w580i from Rogers. I have debrand my phone the
W580_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_LA_RED52
W580_R6BC002_FS_AMERICA_1_RED52
I used SX++ 3.0 did a backup file for the phone before I debranded. now after I debrand and use the Restore GDFS function in the SX++. everything went ok. but after I turn my phone one, I notes that I still can use mp3 as ringtones and still use flash menu. I didn't know what happened and why is that but I'm happy with it....hehehe...
here is the log of before restore and after.... anyone knows what happened and why?
