Headphone Wire Length

i know this is kinda of a stupid question but why does the left side of the bud head phones be shorter than the right. I really don't get it. :confused:

Beacause you should wear it so that your right side goes behind your head, over the left side to your ear, and the left side goes directly to your ear.

Its like that with all Sony headphones, but the PSP one's are earfriendly meaning there dead quiet.

dominick is right...plus the headset can leave on your neck/sholder when you are not pluggin-in to your ear.
