can someone post a tutorial about what i need to have (i mean what programs software and cables) to upgrade my phone's firmware and customize it??
What i Know is that if i have cid 49 i need xs++ and far manager with a plugin......and i forgott to tell...i have only 1ghz proc and 256 mb of ram with win xp...I can't upgrade the phone only with xs++ 1.2,but I dont want only cid 49....please...help!!!

If you want to get the latest software and upgrade your CID from 49 then use SEUS, The sony ericsson upgrade service.

1. Update with SEUS and you have last SW version with CID 52 :)
2.When your phone can not update and SEUS say
Your phone already has the last software.

you need FS and MAIN CID 49 and flash again with XS++2.2
select your CDA and region
see in service menu when keypad is unlocked click :
> * < < * < *
Service info > Sowtware info > see Customization

only choose your files and see screenshot's .
Then again update with SEUS and you have R6BC002 ( CID 52 )

then check for cid36 download section in top sony downloads, u will definitely find one, good luck.

you can use seus from sonyericsson to update, or
u need xs++3.1 it will ask you if you want to upgrade to cid:52 just click yes
then u can flash the newest and best k800i firmware to your phone which is

You already have the latest CID, CID52, If you use SEUS it wont make a difference to your CID.
