Screensaver/standby k550

Okay, i have a k550i. When it goes into standby, first the screen gets a little darker, then the screensaver comes up, but then the screen goes completely black. If i hit the button on the side the clock will pop up, but is there any way to keep it there, like on Nokia phones where the clock is always on the phone even when not used?

well on my se k750i screen saver appears just before backlight goes out, then clock appears. in particular i wouldn't use animated screensaver because it drains battery. this limitation is made to save battery power, because se phones are known for having poor battery time compared to others, mostly nokia.
