apply with setool lite - write script
copy the selected script into a txt document and save it as a vkp file
apply with setool lite

So I create a txt document with the script you posted, with setool lite I apply this file but how, flash the phone with that vkp?

I have found a problem with all unlocking solutions, theres not 1 clear way of unlocking anything, unless it's free online instant unlock method. (usually the older nokias)

Everyone assumes everyone knows what all these things mean and how to use the softwares and what they need, when in face most people have no idea, most unlockers are noobs.
People we need clear and full instructions.

Anyway, I have tried the above, nothing happens, it just says the following:
"Going to execute VKP script, and below it says: Hold "C" and insert USB cable. (Obviously I've already done this.) It appears as if its working, but nothing actually happens, its been doing it for almost 2 hours, and the phone is still locked.

does anyone have any real solutions for people to unlock the K310i from home using a usb cable, and setool lite or any other free tools?

You are realy a nob but there are tutorial about patching.
You must press c and insert cable AFTER pressing flash.
Still, bettter read more before attempting anything. Because you will be asked to remove cable and battery in the middle of procees and I'm sure you will not be able to do it as the program tells you to do it.
