Sorry dude. No presets for startup volume. Only way is to try different acoustics. W880 is quite loud, but use that as ur base acoustic and change the farfield_play and farfield_ring.zapf with Ego's ones. You want loud startup, you get! Oh, and it doesn't seem like SE cares about K800 sound, so you'd better try different acoustics. Peter's newer R8 K800 mod whips ass, so try it! I actually uploaded all these acoustic files in the customizing-drivers section, so I don't wanna upload twice. Just now I get in trouble, so just look there!

Because i like Sony Ericsson original startup sound and i intend to keep it.
For this reason, i want to extract the original startup sound (STARTUP_SOUND_SEMC.mid) from K800 system (TPA\PRESET\SYSTEM\SETTINGS).
After extraction, I want to convert "STARTUP_SOUND_SEMC.mid" to .wav and normalize the sound in Sound Forge to a value of about -16dB to -12dB.
After normalization I want to convert the new file (STARTUP_SOUND_SEMC.wav) to .mp3 and upload the file to the phone with XS++ "FILES TO UPLOAD" option.

I don't really like the MIDI sound format because it's not that easy to work with.
