why you need the startup sound for ?

Because i like Sony Ericsson original startup sound and i intend to keep it.
For this reason, i want to extract the original startup sound (STARTUP_SOUND_SEMC.mid) from K800 system (TPA\PRESET\SYSTEM\SETTINGS).
After extraction, I want to convert "STARTUP_SOUND_SEMC.mid" to .wav and normalize the sound in Sound Forge to a value of about -16dB to -12dB.
After normalization I want to convert the new file (STARTUP_SOUND_SEMC.wav) to .mp3 and upload the file to the phone with XS++ "FILES TO UPLOAD" option.

I don't really like the MIDI sound format because it's not that easy to work with.
